St. Nicholas Abbey

St. Nicholas Abbey, dating to 1658, is one of the three genuine Jacobean mansions remaining in the Western Hemishpere. Immerse yourself in Barbadian history by participating in the various experiences offered at the site, including tours of the great house and rum tasting. We hold a personal connection to this estate, as it came into the ownership of our family in the 1720's, and was later sold in the 1750's.

The land on which this natural wonder is located was purchased by our grandmother's grandfather when he fell in love with the rugged landscape of the North Coast.
